This page contains the most recent inspection information for approximately 5000 food facilities that have a permit to operate in Sacramento County. These include restaurants, bars, grocery stores, convenience stores, school cafeterias and most facilities that dispense food to the public. (There are several categories of food facility, specifically mobile food vehicles and temporary events, that the Environmental Management Department inspects and issues permits for, but that are not included on this site.)

The information available here includes (in accordance with California Health and Safety Code 113725.3): name and address of the food facility, identification of any major violations, date of the last inspection or reinspection, period of closure (if applicable.) In addition, the food inspection report itself is available on line (in Adobe Acrobat format) for the two most recent regular inspections and any related re-inspections.
